Two posters act as a series of promotional material for a fictional typographic art exhibition titled “Abstracted Alphabets.” The concept of this piece stems from the experimentation of deconstructing and transforming letterforms. In this case, the words “Abstracted Alphabets” were cut and merged the forms to create a new composition. The goal of this composition wasn’t legibility, but rather visual interest as a form. The results of this experimentation were two organic, united shapes that were then contrasted with an angular typeface to create a dynamic composition.
